We don't go everywhere.
We go where we know.
Santo doesn't go everywhere. We work where we have genuine knowledge — the specific rooms, the right season, the things that don't photograph well but stay with you.
Where we work
Italy
Italy rewards those who move slowly and choose carefully. The difference between a good Italy trip and a great one is almost never about which cities you visit — it is about the hotel that changes the mood of a destination, the restaurant that only seats twenty, the morning you spent somewhere that most itineraries skip entirely. We know Italy in that register.
April — June · September — November
Dolomites
For clients who want landscape that asks something of them. UNESCO-listed and unlike anywhere else — the mountains as the entire story..
India
India doesn't reveal itself to the hurried. Its most extraordinary experiences — a desert sunrise over a fort that has stood for six hundred years, a market where the same family has dyed fabric for four generations — require time, context, and a route that earns them. We design India slowly, and sequenced with intention.
OCTOBER - MARCH
Rajasthan
The desert circuit — Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur — travelled in the order that makes sense, not the order everyone uses..

Turkey
Turkey is not one place. It is many climates, many histories, and many completely different kinds of travel compressed into a single country. Byzantine cisterns, volcanic valleys, Aegean coves, and a city that has been the centre of three empires. It rewards the traveller who slows down, separates the regions, and trusts someone who has moved through it properly.
April — June · September — November
Istanbul
Mosques that hum with centuries, a bazaar that has traded for five hundred years, and a Bosphorus that divides the world in two..
Cappadocia
Dawn balloon flights over fairy chimneys, private cave dinners, and a landscape that is genuinely unlike anywhere else on earth.
Russia
Russia is a destination that demands a particular kind of client — one who is drawn to historic grandeur, to the weight of a city that has been remade several times over, and to a beauty that is entirely uninterested in being easy. Moscow and St Petersburg are two very different cities. We treat them as such, and rarely suggest combining them without adequate time for both.
April — June · September — November
Moscow
Historic grandeur, winter glamour, and old-world drama. Red Square, the Bolshoi, and a city that operates at a scale designed to impress.
St. Petersburg
The Hermitage, White Nights, and canals that make the city feel like a northern Venice. The more considered of the two Russian cities.

Don't see where you're thinking of going?
We work beyond the destinations listed here. If you have a place in mind — somewhere specific, or somewhere you haven't fully defined yet — begin an enquiry and tell us what you're drawn to. We'll be honest about whether we know it well enough to design it properly, and what the right approach would be.
